As the firm’s founder and principal, Bob is personally involved in every project at Pratt Design Studio. During his 25-year career, Bob has earned a reputation as a leader in innovative construction techniques and has been recognized with numerous awards for design excellence.
Bob was named an Industry Leader/Architect in Facility Care’s “Who’s Who” in Dec. 2008 and was recognized as one of “Twenty Who Are Making a Difference” by Healthcare Design Magazine in 2006. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences such as Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Healthcare Design Conference. Awards include the Pre-cast Concrete Institute Design Award in 1995, The Lawrence B. Perkins Award for Outstanding Achievement in 1996 and the PPI&W Honor Award in 2003. In addition, his work has also been featured in numerous healthcare magazines.

Gail has comprehensive project leadership experience with a strong technical background in all project phases. She has led the documentation efforts on three 30,000 s.f Emergency Department renovation projects. Her more than 30 years of architectural experience include a variety of healthcare work including complex radiology remodeling projects. Coordination with building codes, department of public health and other AHJs is a stregth that has been developed during her long career. She is active in the AIA Healthcare Knowledge Community and is a member of the AIA NEI Committee on the Environment. For Pratt Design Studio she has been directly involved in the design and construction of the Elmhurst Cancr Center, the Addison and York Medical Office Buildings and two Emergency Department Renovations.
