As Director of Interior Design, Susan Suhar has been responsible for the interior design of every project at Pratt Design Studio for the past 7 years. She brings a source of originality and enthusiasm to all projects - developing rich interior finish palettes and fine attention to architectural details.
Susan’s diverse background includes health care, senior living, hospitality, corporate, retail and residential projects. This broad experience allows her to adjust the treatment of different healthcare environments appropriately. Through design leadership, she interacts through all phases of the design process, as well as all disciplines required for the completion of the project. Her responsibilities include selection and design of interior elements to complement the exterior composition and setting and reflect the client’s personality, goals and role in the community.
As a graduate of both the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and College of DuPage, Susan has lead several interior design projects of varying scales and budget requirements. She is currently an instructor at the College of DuPage and serves on their Advisory Board. In addition, she was the 1997 recipient of the A. Cotton Interior Design Award. |
