CREATIVE SOLUTION

Each of the departmental suites is endowed with a distinct and unique character within the confines of the available space.  Although space for the replacement construction was limited, Pratt Design Studio’s solution resulted in a design with a remarkable feeling of openness and sophistication. By incorporating a clerestory in the enclosed offices located around the suite perimeter, which allows natural light into the open area office areas and using soft colors and fabrics to enhance the shaped central cores containing the support functions, this effect is achieved.

The design of the reception/waiting areas acts as a visual focal point with rich materials and soft lighting distinct to each suite. Because of its cost effective design, use of simple but elegant materials and careful project management, Pratt Design Studio actually brought the projects in under the client’s budget.

INTERIOR DESIGN

This project was produced with a high level of design detail to create a look of “True Prairie” style.   Warm wood tones and glass detail completed a look that holds interest from both near and far.
